A full history of changes to Projects should be reflected in a Eligible Participant’s GitHub repository in order to enable the Poster and/or Judges to confirm fulfillment of the Submission Requirements.
(ii) Functionality: The Project must be capable of being successfully installed and running consistently on the platform for which it is intended, and must function as depicted in the video and expressed in the text description.
(iii) New & Existing: Projects must be either newly created by the Eligible Participant or, if the Project existed prior to the Submission Period, must have been materially updated after the start of the Submission Period. Open-source software may be used subject to Section 4.B (viii) below.
(iv) Testing: The Eligible Participant must make the Project available free of charge and without any restriction, for testing, evaluation and use by the Poster, Administrator and Judges during the Hackathon and until the Judging Period ends (and, if necessary, afterwards for purposes reasonably connected with administering the Hackathon, including verification of entries and resolution of disputes). -
Implementation (How well did you execute the idea?)
-
Scalability (Does the idea bring a positive impact to communities? Can it be applied globally? How far can this idea reach?)
-
Use of Blockchain Technology (How important is blockchain to the solution? How was blockchain implemented in the app?)
A “Potential Winner” is the Eligible Participant who, according to the Judging Criteria and process set out in this Section 6, submitted the highest-scoring Eligible Submission.
C. Submission Review: Judges are not required to test the Project and may choose to judge based solely on the text description, images, and video provided in the Submission.
